Meishio keeps the contacts you already have current and in sync: it cleans up Google Contacts, notices when people change jobs, and writes the changes you approve back to Google, so your phone and Gmail stay correct. When you meet someone new, scanning their card adds them in seconds, in English or Japanese.

Yes. Meishio reads English and Japanese cards, including cards printed in both. It keeps the kanji and English name on one contact, reads titles such as 部長 (department head) and 代表取締役 (representative director), and tells a 〒 postal code from a phone number.

Connect Google Contacts and run the address-book check. Meishio finds business numbers saved without a country code and suggests the full number, such as +91 for India, +81 for Japan or +65 for Singapore. You approve the fixes, and Meishio writes them back to Google Contacts.

Meishio never deletes Google contacts. It changes only the fixes you approve, such as adding a country code or marking an email as work or personal, and each fix can be undone. Contacts sync stays off until you turn it on.

Meishio Search checks public web sources for a contact's current role and company. When something looks different, you see the before and after with the source link, and you accept or ignore it. Nothing on the contact changes until you accept. You start with free checks; beyond those, checks use credits.

Yes. Meishio runs in the browser on iPhone, Android and desktop, so there is nothing to download from an app store. You can add it to your home screen. Contacts sync with Google Contacts, which Android uses already; on an iPhone, add your Google account to Contacts, or import a vCard file.

Meishio is free while in early access, including scanning, the address-book clean-up and company news. Job-change checks start with a free allowance; beyond it they use credits.
